About Andrew

Shift Perspectives is based on my 40+ years of experience in the wholesale trade distribution market, where relationship selling was the key to success. I spent a large part of my career with Reece in selling, leadership, strategy and business transformation. My experience has shown that if you want to build customers that advocate for your business, your people must be advocating for your business first. If your people don’t know why what they do is great for the customer, then how can the customer know as well? I transformed businesses by understanding this and then coaching and leading teams to live it. 


At the core of all of this is to understand change, to understand the fear of change and push through. You can’t tell people to change, sometimes you can force things upon them that will create change – good and bad. You have to have a strategy and a plan for change – change has to evolve, sometimes quickly. You won’t get the outcomes you want if you don’t take your people on this journey.
